Ah well, sometimes it happens (sigh)

My appointment came and went yesterday. Unfortunately taken by some poor critical care patient. I dearly hope they are ok.

Of course, I am a bit dissapointed. It means rescheduling of several appointments, a shuffling domino effect. More coaching of oneself (MRI's are not a pleasant experience and it does take me a bit of focused calmness and preparation on the day).

But somebody else got the urgent care they needed. I'd want that for myself and my family if necessary.

I'm still glad I put it out there into blogland though. It felt ok asking for your help. It was nice knowing that others are supporting me.

It's cool.

You people are cool.

Total coolness.

Thanks. Keep it comng. Lots of love your way too.

  1. oh no! I hate when appointments are cancelled...especially when its a big deal to get there in the first place!

Here for you for sure jaz!

Its a funny ol thing blogland...when you read certain peoples blog and it clicks and you instantly care about how things are going for them.
Thoughts and prayers are with you friend.

  3. Oh, sorry to hear that. Any medical examination takes some mental preparation (and sometimes physical as well). I hope you get a new appointment soon. There's no expiration date on the prayers and well-wishes though ;)

  4. It is bad luck that your appointment has been postponed. Your docs are obviously on the case and so there is some small consolation that you are considered well enough to wait rather than a "must-do-now" Even though it is wonderful and amazing to have this modern technology, it must be hard for you to manage the day to day discomfort and anxiety and I do wish you very well in getting through this tough period.
